Your 341 Meeting or the Meeting of Creditors is the opportunity for your Trustee and creditors to ask you questions about your petition and schedules, while under oath.  

Below are a common questions asked at your 341 Meeting

  1. Did you read the petition, schedules, statements and related documents before you signed them?
  2. Are you personally familiar with the information contained in the petition, schedules, statements and related documents?
  3. Did you sign the petition, schedules, statements, and related documents?
  4. Is the information contained in the petition and documents true and correct?
  5. Are there any errors or omissions that you’d like to bring to our attention?
  6. Did you list all your assets?
  7. Did you list all your creditors?
  8. Have you previously filed bankruptcy? 
  9. Is the copy of the tax return a true copy of the most recent tax return you filed? 
  10. Do you have a domestic support obligation?
  11. Did you review the bankruptcy information sheet?
  12. Have you repaid any debts to family or friends in the last year?
  13. Have you transferred any property in the last 6 years?
  14. Do you own any real estate?
  15. Have you transferred, or sold anything in the past two years?
  16. Do you have any claims against anyone for damages?
  17. Are you entitled to life insurance proceeds or an inheritance upon someone’s death?
