Why Some MN Bankruptcy Law Firms Invest In THeir Spaces

minneapolis-mn-bankruptcy-attorneys-office  I have seen many unprofessional office spaces in my day. I have heard of clients meeting with Minnesota bankruptcy lawyers in many other very unprofessional spaces as well. But to get a feel for what these office spaces were like, I travelled to many of them myself. What did I find?

First, many of these so called “law offices” were not law offices at all. What do you think of when you think about a law office? You think there will be staff there during the stated hours right? Of course. You think the “law office” will have the equipment necessary to run the affairs of a “law office” right? You should see computers and printers and all sorts of other office equipment one would imagine to perform the tasks of “practicing law” in a law office. But I did not see this. What I saw was a desk and a few chairs and that is it. That is not a law office at all. That is more like a meeting location by appointment only right?

So then why don’t these law firms just say this in their advertising? Because they want you to think that the law firm is large, local, and has expansive hours of operation to trick you into thinking they are very authoritative in the area of law you are looking for. Would you want to work with a law firm that is trying to trick you from the start? I would not.

Second, the other spaces I found were in buildings that were quite old and honestly the spaces felt like they were from the 1970’s. I didn’t find them to be professional at all.

And why do some Minnesota bankruptcy law firms skimp on spaces? Because it means the owners of the law firm can put more in their pocket so they can invest in fancy homes and vehicles. They can line their pockets while you suffer.
