Wesley Scott grew up in a humble family of nine children in Foley, Minnesota. His dad worked in a factory and his mother was a work-at-home mom. Not only did his mom take care of her nine children, but she also babysat other children to earn money to feed their family. It was a big family, with lots of love, but little money.

Wes quickly learned how to make his own money, usually by mowing lawns, bailing hay, painting or babysitting. Starting at age 10 he started to buy his own clothing, and he often paid for his own dentist bills and long distance bills while growing up. There was also a period of time when he lived in a garage while working two jobs to pay for college.

Coming from the background that he did, he makes a perfect match for the bankruptcy practice because he has a working knowledge of how financial pressures feel. In 1997, Wesley Scott joined Bill Kain at the law firm, and they’ve been working together ever sense.

Wes understands the fear of not being able to pay your bills and how anxiety inducing that is. He understands the financial pressures his clients face because he faced those same pressures growing up. He knows that most of his clients end up in debt through no fault of their own, and he will do anything he can to reassure them that he’s there to help them get their lives back.

He always says:

“When you’re physically or mentally sick, you go to the doctor’s office. When your finances are sick, you come to us.”

As you can see, Wes Scott understands financial hardship. He’s lived it himself and knows how difficult it can be for an individual and their family. If you yourself are dealing with a financial hardship and are looking for relief from your overwhelming debt,. Wes will help you explore your options and will walk you through step-by-step if you choose bankruptcy as your solution.
