I was driving into work today, and as I was driving, I was reflecting on what it is exactly that we do at Kain & Scott. It keep your family out of your bankruptcywas like a light bulb going off in my head. What we do at Kain & Scott is restore human dignity. We humans have imperfect brains. If we didn’t have imperfect brains life would be very dull and we would all be the same; we would all be perfect. That would really suck.

Instead, we are imperfect and do imperfect things. For example, who among us starts a business hoping it will turn into a financial disaster? Of course, no one does. Who among us would love to suffer a huge income drop? No one does. Who among us would love their marriage to turn into an emotional, financial, and physical disaster? Would you love to have cancer or make bad financial decisions? Sometimes, we suffer debt through absolutely no fault of our own. Hopefully, you have never been the victim of identity theft but let me tell you something, if you have, the resulting financial disaster is certainly not your fault. But do you know who does not often realize this? Creditors. They want their money and they want it now.

Filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy or Chapter 13 Bankruptcy is about restoring human dignity to the place it was before the debt was incurred. That is why we say, “We don’t judge you, we HELP you get your life back”. ™  There is a whole financial industry out there hoping you will not restore your dignity. Heck, there are even “financial gurus” who tell you not to file bankruptcy (even though they sometimes have). These people profit from you not filing bankruptcy because they hope you will use their debt consolidation program or buy their books etc.

Don’t fall for this trap. Filing bankruptcy is the quickest way I know to get your life back and restore your human dignity.
