The courthouses may be physically closed to the public; however, we are still very able to file your bankruptcy case! Bankruptcy case filings are filed online and the process will still proceed as if this virus had not occurred and wreaked havoc on our day-to-day lives.
We have switched the way we hold our consultations and meetings a little bit. Currently, we are offering the option of Skype, FaceTime, or phone call to conduct our consultations and Review & Sign appointments. Our goal is to remain as personal and connected to our clients as possible, while continuing to promote a safe and healthy environment for us all!
341 meetings are no longer going to be held at physical locations. For the foreseeable future, meetings will either be held telephonically or via video teleconference. Our clients will receive specific instructions on how to virtually attend these meetings, a phone call from their attorney to prepare for the hearing, and the comfort of an attorney to be present on the phone or video with them during the meeting. We all will be going through this new way of conducting 341 meetings together! We do ask for patience and understanding during this time—this is also new procedure for the Trustees to administer as well.
